Business Development Representative - BDR (3 open roles)


The Business Development Representative (BDR) will focus on customer acquisition. This position involves cold calling new potential clients, client business referrals, or web leads. Provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered, and additional presentations as needed. Work with clients to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.

bullet  Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably with some technology and/or software sales experience

Financial Controller

The Role: 
bullet  Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions
bullet  Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
bullet  Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
bullet  Coordinating activities of external auditors
bullet  Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
bullet  Managing the budget process
bullet  Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes

bullet  Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed

Assistant Controller


As the Assistant Controller of the finance team, you will be responsible for the operation of diverse areas of the business, to ensure that the company is being managed effectively, and efficiently.  

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

bullet  Maintaining all AR and AP functions in Simply Accounting
bullet  Billing/Invoicing all orders going out in a timely manner
bullet  Entering all Vendor Invoices in a timely manner
bullet  Performing General Ledger Accounts
bullet  Bank statement reconciliation
bullet  Preparing Journal Entries and financial reports
bullet  Maintaining periodic reporting
bullet  Assist Controller with Annual Budgeting
bullet  Compiling monthly reports for payables and receivables
bullet  Maintaining records and periodic filing
bullet  Follow up receivables with customers
bullet  Answer accounting related questions of customers/vendors
bullet  Calculate and file GST/HST payable to the Government
bullet  Responsible for controls surrounding accounting records like invoices, etc.

 Requirements: Experience  

bullet  Specialized post-secondary training in accounting 
bullet  Understanding of business principles generally developed through multiple years of accounting experience 
bullet  Proficiency in Simply Accounting with current skills in computing technology, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel Requirements 
bullet  Utilizing accounting software, billing system and spreadsheets. 
bullet  Perform various complex account analyses and presentation software 
bullet  Reconciles general operating account and bank statements and enters cash journals in General Ledger 
bullet  Uses statistical, economic, and financial principals and techniques to prepare reports 
bullet  Coordinates and maintains all bookkeeping functions, verifies all invoicing is complete and reconciled to the General Ledger 
bullet  Prepare vendors cheques as and when required and/or asked for. 
bullet  Maintain records to facilitate orderly file system of permanent records according to company policy. 
bullet  Assist with month-end process, conduct research and correcting journal entries for account discrepancies in consultation with the Controller
